It's a Boy!

We're having a boy! Thank you to all who prayed for us this morning. The doctor ended up calling me at about 10:30am and said she gave her patient an epidural and so if I could come in right away then we could do the apt. so of course I said yes and called Brett and told him to meet me at the clinic (which thankfully he was able to reschedule some meetings so he could be there). We are so excited! And in the words of Brett, "now I can go and buy him some tools!" That was basically the first thing he said when she told us it was a boy...of course I laughed!

If you notice in the top picture there is a an arrow pointing to the area that makes him a boy! She was showing us that and then we thought it was so funny that she printed out that picture and put an arrow pointing towards it. Our precious little boy was just relaxing while he was getting his pictures taken...he has one arm under is head resting it back and his legs crossed at the ankles. God has answered our prayers in giving us a healthy baby (even a boy...that's what we were hoping for)! I was told I am a few days ahead of schedule as well which bumped the due date up to March 15th!
